Kick off Pride Day with a special flag raising ceremony featuring Rutherford native and one of the world's most influential LGBTQ+ rights leaders, Rabbi Sharon Kleinbaum!

Join us at Borough Hall for the Pride flag raising, where we will hear from Presidential Appointee and Rutherford native, Rabbi Sharon Kleinbaum. As one of the country’s first openly gay female rabbis, Rabbi Kleinbaum is a true trailblazer who has devoted her life to crucial causes including LGBTQ+ rights, marriage equality, racial justice, and interfaith solidarity. Her profound influence has been recognized repeatedly, as she has been named one of Newsweek’s "50 Most Influential Rabbis." In 2024, her global advocacy was further celebrated with her inclusion in the BBC’s 100 Women list.
